Dr Annie Irvine

Annie is a researcher and lecturer at the University of York. She is particularly interested in understanding people's lived experiences of mental distress and how these are related to experiences of work and the welfare system. She uses qualitative methods to try and enable research participants to tell their story in their own words. Annie is working with the Devolved Conversations team, which is led by Maddy and Ciara. Annie lives in York with her husband and three children.
