David is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Research on Inclusive Society at the University of Salford. He lives in Bristol (which feels like home) but is originally from the Midlands. His research focuses on how social security policy, precarious work and income insecurity are experienced by different claimant groups and individuals. He is part of the discretionary local welfare team.
