Dr Hayley Bennett

Hayley is a Lecturer in Social Policy at the University of Edinburgh. Originally from Preston in Lancashire, she now lives in Edinburgh with her husband and two children (but remains an avid Preston North End fan). She is Co-I, country lead for Scotland, and co-leads the Discretionary local welfare workstream. Her research interests include social security and labour market programmes, specifically spatial inequalities, place-based approaches, multi-level governance and devolution.
