Tom Lee

Tom is the Senior Policy Analyst at Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG), having previously worked at the University of Chicago and the Institute for Fiscal Studies. He grew up in Essex but now lives just down the road in London. His background is in economics, and he uses his skills to carry out economic modelling and data analysis, trying to convince the public and policymakers alike why they should act on child poverty. Despite lots of work being Westminster focused, he has carried out work in a Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish context. He is part of the policy engagement team as well as working on creating an interactive dataset.
